Locksley
Christian School was opened with
a view to provide and share with other parents an opportunity
for an effective and rich Christian education for children.
Parental
support is of great value to the school and can take the form
of active participation, prayer, and finance. There are many
ways to become involved in the school and everybody's contribution
is valued.
Circumstances
at home and school greatly affect a child's learning and attitude,
so it is vitally important that parents and teachers build a
supportive relationship through good communication. This provides
a secure foundation upon which the child's learning experience
can flourish.
Different
means of communication, such as letters to parents, the homework
diary, and scheduled Parents' evenings, are opportunities to
develop home/school relationships. These all enable parents
to gain greater understanding of the aims and working of the
school.
